"Explore the delightful world of watercolour with PollyannaR. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to refresh their skills.
Over 4 weeks, students will develop skills in colour mixing and a variety of watercolour techniques using the beautiful botanicals surrounding the studio as inspiration, including the Morwell Rose Garden.
Your take home kits contain; a handmade porcelain palette with of artist quality watercolours, cold-press watercolour paper and three special brushes.
What you will learn:
Basic skills in using watercolours and accompanying materials;
Advanced watercolour techniques;
How to 'let go' and allow the watercolours do the work for you.

What to bring:
This workshop includes everything you will need; including all art supplies, a smock, snacks, and water. All you need to bring is an open mind and willing hands! You may choose to bring your own watercolours, brushes and paper if you have them, or use the kit we have put together.
Please note that all snacks are nut-free, vegan & gluten.

About Your Teacher: PollyannaR
PollyannaR is a community based artist who's art practice spans over a decade & a couple of city blocks. Most known for giant black & white photographic activism work. She has now spends her days water colouring in her widow studio in the Gallery & going to many workshops as she can organise. Her water colour journey started like many in the first locked & quickly scaled in size fitting her BIG picture philosophy.
